How do u improve on ur lyrics?

Don't try to go out your way to make it rhyme because it becomes too obvious. If you can't make the song rhyme then it really doesn't matter :) One thing that I do which makes song writing easier is just get my guitar ( or keyboard) try some simple chords and see what lyrics come to mind. When trying to improve your lyrics make sure you have a catchy chorus which people will remember X)
