We are both wondering how to tell my parents were engaged.?

Im almost 17 and my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years asked me to marry him and I said yes. Now we are both wondering how to tell my over protective, over religious, and over racist parents that we are going to be married when i graduate from high school. (I'm white and my boyfriend is mexican. Also my whole family is raciest.)
