My sister is a fashion designer and she is making clothes for her fashion show. She is making a Kimono top without the bottom part because its a dress. So I asked her about the bottom and she said the model will wear a bathing suit under it. Im told her she should not do this because it might not be right for her to design a Kimono like this. I am scared that her design would be a disgrace to Japanese culture.

My girlfriend and I are finishing up a long road trip and are heading back to San Diego from Carmel, CA. We didn't have any specific plans for the road trip, and find ourselves trying to make it back tomorrow, which happens to be the Friday before Memorial Day, which means traffic. Any suggestions on the best way to get through L.A. relatively painlessly? There are 2 of us, so carpool lane suggestions are welcome as well. I just know L.A. can be a parking lot sometimes, and I really want to avoid sitting idly for hours on end if we can keep moving and make decent time. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Will my insurance go up after a carpool violation?

I was driving on the carpool lane today(I wasn't suppose to because carpool says 3 or more persons and it was me and my sister only), and a CHP saw me, so he pulled me and asked for my license, registration and insurance. Then he asked me why I was in the carpool lane, and I said that a car cut me off so I had to avoid coalition and so I went into the carpool lane...not sure if this was a smart answer, but anyway he gave me the ticket and said that I will receive something in the mail. My question is, I know i'm going to get a point for this violation, but will me insurance rate go up? how will this affect me?

Ok so today i was going to my c block. and i came in like right after the bell rang. my teacher was like u owe me 20 mins. i was like um why?? and she said i need to come on time and that im never late but i owe her 20 mins. and this was my first time being late. i also came into the class like 2 weeks or so later than everyone else so i was never aware of that rule. i tried explaining to her i cant stay after school cuz my mom gets me on her break ( i go to school in a diffrent city) and shes like well tell her to come 20 mins later. i tried telling her its not that simple. i mean i carpool also and they need to be home for a certain time. i told all my friends and they thought that was the stupidest reason ever. i mean i can see if you come in like 2 mins late or something. but comming in a few seconds late is natural just cuz u have to try to dodge and get around students. tell me if you think this is fair at all.

I want to go on a Japan mission trip?

i dont know if my parents will allow me to go because they still think im young to go to japan by myself (im 16) but of course id be stayogn with other missionaries and the only thing i would be doing alone would be the flight there and back, but its expensive also, which is a big issue too! and leaving school for a month? i dont want to wait till next summer! and how safe is it! im a mexican city kid from chicago. still dont knwo if thsi is what God wants for me?

Poison Oak, Ivy, Sumac or what?

Last night i got on little teeny tiny bump on my leg, it was red and started to itch. Now it has spread a little bit in the area and also a little on my other leg. Now i have a bump on my arm that im trying to not scratch to avoid spreading. At the end of April, i had something similar. It started on my foot and eventually went all up my legs, on my fingers, the palm of my hands, my chest, elbows, and the bottom of my feet. That took about 3 weeks to clear up with the use of prescription ointment. I really want some opinions as to what it could be. It itches soooo bad! The bumps are fairly small, red, and in patches or lines. I should ad that i didnt get this until the the next day after i first started my new job at a mexican restaurant (started april 29, got it april 30) and once it cleared didnt come back until i went to work on sunday and it was there again that night. Could this have anything to do with it? Its a NICE mexican restaurant but its new, and just got a sanitation grade of C.

Racist family! what do i do?!?

My parents are racist against mostly african americans and arabians, my mom hates mexicans but my step dad doesn't. My moms mexican! And my step dad and my biological dad are mexican! She only wants me to date white guys. The problem is I have friends of every race and I mean every race! She so against my black friends though especially the guys. She says black people are pushy and stinky and mexicans are controlling. I have a friend whose half mexican and half black who asked me to prom. My parents were so against it that they tried to bribe me with money not to go and in the end they forced me not to go by saying they weren't paying for the dress or anything. I cried and had to tell him I couldn't go. He was so disappointed when I told him why. I just can't get my mom to see how wrong she it. My grandmas racist so I know that's where my mom gets it. Thoughts on Mexican Americans rooting for Mexico?

Okay so its been a few days after the game and instead of reading reviews on the game, theres nothing but hate filled articles aimed towards the fact that there were a lot more Mexican supporters than US ones. I went to the game, I was rooting for Mexico, and I was born here. I love America. I would fight and die for her, but all the hate aimed towards my own ancestors kind of makes me feel frustrated with being American. I mean, at least I have a reason to root for Mexico in soccer, but what about all the immigrants from Europe and Asia that were rooting against the US? Why no hate towards them? What about the countless white people I saw at the game wearing a Mexico shirt? Is it just racism/resentment for the loss the reason for the hate? Or do they believe the papers when they read that all the Mexicans boo'd the anthem? I was there, and let me make it clear that the grand majority did not boo. Only the idiot cholos and drunks did. Why do some see it as an obligation to root for the US no matter if I learned how to love soccer from my Mexican roots? I pay taxes, I vote, I help my community, I would fight and die for this country. Me and this guy are great friends, we talk a lot at school and when we carpool to a competition. I could tell that he liked me because he would try to hold back a smile when I look at him and he teases me not in a hurtful way. His brother is more immature so I naturally talk to his brother more but hens very serious and stuff. I like him too. Then after school ended I still saw him a meets and practice And we carpooled a few times but he started to become more natural or calm when I'm around. I definitely think so. I think my ending is the best. My ending is, Goku is badly beaten and has the other Z fighters fight Broly off while Goku tries to see the surpreme Kai to get potara ear rings and fuse with Vegeta to make eitther Gogeta or Vegito. And If I'm wrong if they do stay like that forever they must stay as Vegito/Gogeta for the remainder of the series. And they beat him with a Super Galick Gun,Super Kamehameha, or Kaioken10-20x attack. OR they can make it like how Son Goku defeated King Piccolo. Charging straight up at him with a punch or a kick and defeat Broly. It would be awesome if Vegtio/Gogeta went super saiyan 3 or 4! and beat Broly. And that's the final end to him. I like Second coming but Bio-Broly was a TOTAL DISGRACE! Broly really didn't deserve to come back through Genetic engineering. I thought it should be Bio-Raditz or Bio-Nappa.

So me and 2 friends were meeting at this place at 2 o'clock so we could all carpool to where we were going; about an hour away. So I get to the place around 155 and wait for them. I texted one of them about 205 and asked if they were close. She said "we'll be just a minute late." At 220 I texted here again and I was like you guys are seriously 20 minutes late... She replied with " calm the **** down dude." So I was like okay well we agreed on 2 and I've been sitting here waiting. They finally get there and we all get in the car and the others girl (who she was with) was like it's really hot. I said "yeah especially when you sit in your car for 20 minutes." The first girl I was texting exploded and was like "chill the **** out we were busy it's not that big of deal." No apology for being late or anything. (they were shoe shopping that's why they were late, and it was just for fun) Anyway after she said that I was just like you know what shut the **** up. 20 minutes is a little ridiculous to make me sit here and wait for you. So she got out of the car and we ended up not going. So basically who's fault would you say this is? I still obviously would be mad I'd they were late but she did not have to act like that.
