Told me he was going to commit suicide to get my attention?

So there is this guy he's kind of a Lier sometimes but I went out with hi. I'm 14 he 15 and he was flirting with my friend so i dumped him but we where still friends so last night I had the last choir concert of the year and it was going to b rely special and I told him that and he sent me a text saying he was going to commit suicide cause he accidentally hurt his dad and it was my falt or something so I got a little freaked out I thought he was serious and I started crying and stuff then my dad saw me and I told him about it and this guy used to carpool with me so my dad new where he lived so he went to his house and his dad was fine and later I found out he told that to a lot of people and now I don't think he was reply serious then he called me said he reply cared about me said he was sorry and that he didn't do it for attention or as a joke then after I forgave him he told me he actually likes this other girl that he always said he hated sorry it's so long but wut do I do
