Being Goth in Year 7 (6th Grade)?
I'm sorry that I can't answer your question, but I still have a word. For some, many, most???, being Goth is a young person phase, but others are born with a Goth Nature. They may be functioning in a super preppy environment, but inside they feel very different (and may worry that they are crazy). It was the same with the 1960's-70's Hippies. Most a young phase; Some a true nature. Nature is forever-LOL You sound like you have a Goth Nature, and I'm so happy that you will enjoy the fun trappings of it while it's still age-appropriate! I was born with that type of nature, and can remember thinking Goth-like in pre-school-lol! I was the worst Hippie EVER! Now I'm pushing 60 and still a Goth, but I can't enjoy the fun trappings because I'd look like an idiot even in New Orleans (my home). MANY Many of the hippiest Hippies did not really have that nature at all, and I'm certain that MANY of the highest status Goths are just playing a role exceptionally well. So be confident, and not overly impressed by Status Goths, or too upset if criticized. You are sooo lucky; Have fun with this! I can't wear Dead Threads, but I do get to go through life with the Goth mind-set (no choice), and this has given me an enriched life. : )
