So, getting back into riding again... Help?

Everything you've forgotten will come back to you once you start riding again. You instructor or you step mom will help you remember everything. i cant tell you what breed of horse to get, you just need to start riding and find one you love. I would say at least 16 hands. If you still do jumping and barrels and want a horse that can do both, i would recommend a quarter horse. They aren't the best jumpers in the world but they're pretty good. If you're just doing jumpers, I would say some sort of warmblood or a Thoroughbred. Your step mom should help you pick one out when you go
