Why do people like avenged sevenfold?

They are fake metal who are inspirede by the godfather of all fake metal bands metallica.They sound just like them exept for an emo goth look instead of a country look,They are a disgrace to music and had the audacity to cover a pantera song when the emo bands like shadows fall are more metal then them.Why are they popular again?
