Will Jesus forgive me?

I have committed Idolatry i am catholic i use to wear a gold cross with Jesus on it,but i just found out today that your not suppost to wear things like that because its a disgrace to GOD but i didn't know i wasn't suppost to wear it i didn't mean to disobey Jesus or disgrace him please will he forgive me?
