Am I the only one who absolutely hates the music that is playing on the radio these days?

Every time I turn on the radio, I feel like gauging my ears out!! Everything on the radio is a disgrace. And TRUST ME, when I say that I'm not one of those "I hate mainstream music" hipsters. I'm definitely not, but I find this music to be atrocious! What happened to the early 2000's rock?? (the strokes???!) Why aren't bands like THAT on the radio... They're 2 million times better than anything that I've heard recently... :'(
