Is it weird that my mom and I are going to take classes together?

I'm in college and she wants to finish her degree. It would save money to take the same classes that we both need and carpool, but I feel like a little kid having her drive me to my classes and walk in with me and take the same classes and labs. I was finally gaining some independence. Will others think it's weird too?
